It might seem common to many of you guys ,but here in our village it is matter of concern.
The news of this incident spread like a wildfire in the entire village. Everyone around is cursing her and her parents . They are questioning her parents on her upbringing,especially the Indian aunties. You cannot underestimate them.
The whole family of the girl was tensed and frustrated. On Hearing the taunts of the society, their condition was getting worse day by day.
The girl's mother could not bear it at all and finally she killed herself by eating fertilizer kept in house for the purpose of farming. She finds suicide as the last option to get rid out of this shit.
The police Investigated, enquired and said that she(the mother) had committed suicide because of her daughter's departure.
But it was hard to believe that she committed suicide just because her daughter ran away from them .
Would she had died if the society had not questioned her upbringing ?
Perhaps she wouldn't.
She died not because of her daughter’s Elopement , but because of immense pressure of the society.
Even the death of the girl's mother could not arouse a sense of compassion towards her family. People still mock at her family.

• She is no more with us , but her actions had left some questions in my subconscious mind :
- The girl has had her whole life ahead .How will she spend her entire life with this stigma that her mother died because of her?
- If it is not sucide but a murder done by moron villagers, then will they be punished ?And if yes then how ?
- Would you blame the girl too for her mother’s death considering that she is just a teenager and at this age her hormones are high?
I am not sure if this happens in other part of globe but certainly it happens in India . More often in the remote area of our country.
