This is the sacred mosque of Mecca.
Every year nearly four million muslims visit this place for a period that extends up to 40 days. People live in nearby accomodations and worship as much as they can. With the passage of time and advancement of technology, numerous provisions have been added to facilitate this mass pilgrimage. But not one Non-Muslim can dare step in this place. Not only that, India has long been giving subsidy to muslims to do this. This pilgrimage forms a vital part of the Saudi economy and we have only been helping them. It is mentioned that Hajj should be performed with your money only, but still muslims have accepted this subsidy for a very long time.
Ayodhya is central to the belief of Hindus. It is the birth place of Ram and no consent is required for this. Every hindu knows it and this place should definitely be the biggest center for Hindu pilgrimage. There should be provisions for people to come and stay and worship the most powerful deity they love.
In my opinion around seventy acres of land is enough to build a huge center that can accomodate people well. It can be a center of not only spiritual but also economic activity.
