In 2012, People from Muslim community gathered at Azad Maidan in Mumbai to protest against attacks on Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar & Kokrajhar.

Soon the protesters turned violent. They started pelting stones, burning cars and buses, attacking police.

And then they did this.

And this

They attacked Amar Jawan Jyoti, the symbol of sacrifice of a Soldier. It was attacked, in the most disrespectful manner.

Any Indian with minutest of gratitude for the country and the army which protects the country, would hang his head in shame. And I don’t want to make it a community issue, because we have to think as an Indian.

As an Indian, This is the the epitome of NATIONAL SHAME. Absolutely disgraceful.

I want to address Muslim brothers:

See, there are Hundreds of problems that are plaguing the world. Should we start worrying about them all? How logical is to destroy property of own country for the sake of people living in some other country?

How many times have muslims from other countries done the same when Indian Muslims were in a problem? Zero.

I have lived in Gulf countries and I can say with certitude that they do not give a damn about Indian Muslims. You want ‘proof’? I will give you proof.

Only last year 10,000 people lost their job in Saudi Arabia. They had no money to buy even food. And the so-called guardian of Islam, the Saudi Arabia refused to provide them food. Who came to our rescue? THE GOVT OF INDIA.

And tell me how much help does Saudi Arabia give in Myanmar, in Syria or in Iraq? ZERO.

They have even refused to let refugees in their country. Rather I feel Non Muslim countries have done far more good in giving refuge to Muslims. Yes, the same “enemy” western countries.

And I have seen Indian Muslims supporting Palestine and not Israel. Do you know that India has been helped by Israel in several of our wars, when most countries refused. How many times Palestinians have done the same? Forget about help, have they even done a day of protest? Not at all.

So are we that stupid that people who are fostering our very existence are our enemy and those who don’t give a damn about us are our brothers? Why, because they happen to have same religious identity as ours?

It’s time Muslim community in India realize that the only identity we have is Indian. In case of a crisis, it’s going to be our Indian Government which will come to rescue. It should be INDIA FIRST, always.

And you have to respect every symbol of Unity. Amar Jawan Jyoti is the symbol of selfless sacrifice of an Indian Soldier, it deserves the highest respect.
