- Sushant originally hails from Bihar’s Patna. His sister Mitu Singh is a state-level cricketer.
- The noted Bollywood actor was also in a six-year relationship with fellow actor Ankita Lokhande. However, the two separated in 2016.
- Sushant was very fond of his mother. He, however, lost her at an early age and quite frequently used to share posts about her on his social media account. His last Instagram post was also about his mother.
- Sushant was a National level Olympiad winner in Physics and had cleared as many as 11 engineering entrance exams. However, he dropped out after completing three years Delhi College of Engineering to chase his dream of becoming an actor. He also stood at 7th Rank DCE in 2003.
