Logic : It was said bcoz nail clippers have sharp blades, so in night maybe we can get harmed but people made it superstition.

  • Don't wash your hair on certain day like Tuesday, thursday.

Logic : It was started to save water, nothing else.

  • Sweeping floor during evening brings bad luck.

Logic : maybe in evening something important swept away with sweeping, so it was said.

  • Eat curd and sugar before heading out.

Logic : Curd keeps our stomach cool and sugar provides glucose. So it was done. But we made it superstition as good luck.

  • Never chew tulsi leaves.

logic : To prevent degradation of enamel and yellowing of teeth after eating this. It is not because Tulsi is Avatar of devi.

  • Menstrual cycle : Women should not do certain things.

Logic : In old times, there was no invention of sanitary pads or medicines. So to give rest to girls they were not allowed to do many works. But we made it superstition.
